In this Lovingkindness (Metta) meditation, we cultivate love, goodwill, and compassion, starting with loved ones, extending to ourselves, then to neutral individuals, and finally to someone we’ve struggled with. This practice enhances our heart’s capacity for Lovingkindness, developing “Bodhicitta” or the awakened heart. In doing so, we expand our capacity to maintain compassion in all situations, enriching our emotional and spiritual well-being.
