The Enfold Team
Steve Rio & Austin Austin
The Founders & Facilitators of Enfold
Enfold was co-founded by Steve and Austin, a husband and wife team that have been on The Path for decades. We’ve worked with various plant and animal medicines since the mid 90s and combined that work with deep spiritual enquiry, IFS and trauma-informed somatic therapy, meditation, and inner exploration.
Our orientation to this work is rooted in Buddhist philosophy, a strong meditation practice, and the belief that everyone has the potential for healing and awakening if they commit themselves to The Path.
We’re in our mid-40s, and have raised a daughter (she’s 24 now) and have a number of spiritual children (of all ages) that we support and care for. We are grounded, considered, and live the life we promote.
Arthur Lee
Guest & Community Experience Facilitator
With a background in social work, end-of-life care, Buddhist study & meditation, and psychedelic education & harm reduction, Arthur is our Guest & Community Experience Facilitator. In this role, Arthur supports guests along every step of their journey, from first contact, intake, preparation, on-site experience, and integration, while also contributing creative content and hosting our ‘Still In It’ podcast.
“The opportunity to join Enfold feels like the culmination of all the work and experiences I’ve had to date. It’s one I’m treating with deep appreciation, gratitude, and excitement for the chance to support others in a meaningful way, in service to nurturing greater love, transformation, and harmony in the world. I hope to offer our guests a caring, grounded, and lighthearted presence that allows them to feel completely safe and supported.”
Where you can find me when I’m not working:
“I start nearly every day by sitting in meditation before heading to one of my favourite coffee shops to read for an hour— usually a book related to the Dharma, Buddhism, or something non-fiction. I also love to write creative non-fiction and poetry. Most of the time otherwise, you can find me outside. Biking, trail running, exploring, or on an off-leash walk with my Golden Retriever, Willow, probably while singing a tune!”
Saige Carlson
Executive Assistant & Operations Coordinator
Saige supports the Enfold team quietly behind the scenes, ensuring operations run smoothly. Her responsibilities range from administrative coordination and client communication to assisting with research initiatives, helping to keep everything running efficiently.
Beyond providing operational support, Saige is also here to be a warm and compassionate presence for our guests and community, ready to assist with any questions—or simply offer a listening ear.
“It’s an honour to join a team so profoundly dedicated to deep transformation and healing. I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring my background in operations and project coordination together with my passion for healing. I’m looking forward to supporting the Enfold team, allowing them to focus even more on facilitating transformative experiences.”
Where you can find me when I’m not working:
“You’ll usually find me outside, whether it’s hiking, playing a round of golf, or simply out for a walk with my camera—nature always keeps me feeling grounded. At home, I have two moods: unwinding with a cup of tea, or dancing around the house to some upbeat music. Ah, balance.”
Sage Ross
Social Media & Marketing Manager
“The way I describe working for Enfold is — I’ve arrived at my purpose. It’s a beautiful thing to work in a space where people’s lives are being transformed and simultaneously held in the most beautiful container that Steve & Austin have spent their entire lives building. It’s really a family here, and I feel beyond grateful to show up every day and be a part of this wonderful project.”
Where you can find me when I’m not working:
“Likely working on my business Saija — a contemporary coffee roastery with a focus on honouring daily rituals and transparency throughout the process. You can also find me cruising on my skateboard, enjoying the present moment (wherever that may be), or somewhere off the beaten path, pointing at unidentified mushrooms in some forest on Vancouver Island.”
