Ep.33 — Jaclyn | A Soul Reckoning

This conversation touches the heart of what it means to heal not just personal trauma, but generational patterns that live in our bodies.

When Jaclyn arrived at Enfold in August 2024, she was walking a terrain of grief. Early life traumas reverberated in her nervous system, impacting her sleep, her relationships, and especially her ability to trust masculine energies in leadership spaces.

She had “done the work” before, but was still circling a few core wounds. What she sought wasn’t escape or temporary relief; it was resolution.

A conversation about Enfold and 5-MeO-DMT with a trusted mentor became the turning point. “Every cell in my body was an immediate yes,” she recalls. “It was almost as though the medicine was calling to me more than I was calling to it.” Within hours, she reached out to Steve and Austin, and the path was set.

Even before arriving, the process had already begun. In the week leading up, fear and doubt crept in. Jaclyn remembers a pivotal one-hour call with Enfold facilitator, Arthur: “You just sat with me, allowed me to voice my fears, and comforted me in a profoundly beautiful way. I hadn’t even stepped foot at Enfold yet, but I knew something powerful had already begun.”

In her first ceremony, a sense of oneness unfolded — a connection that felt both infinite and grounded. Music wove through the space like a healing current. “I became vibration itself,” she says, “like piano notes radiating infinite love.” Surrounded by a small, intimate group, she felt the truth of one of Enfold’s core principles: We heal best in community.

The experience continued to deepen. A cold plunge on somatic integration day became a defining moment. Letting out a primal roar into the ocean and mountains, she felt as though she was birthing herself back to herself — and, as her fellow participants told her, for the group as well.

In the months that followed, Jaclyn leaned fully into integration. She worked with a hypnotherapist familiar with 5-MeO-DMT, honoured the emotional material that surfaced, and stayed connected to a network of supportive, self-aware friends and the Enfold alumni community.

The changes have been undeniable. “I move from peace now, instead of toward it,” she says. “I’m in right relationship with the masculine. The freeze has thawed. I trust life, and myself, in a way that feels unshakable.”

Her advice to others considering this work is simple:

“Don’t be afraid of the pain. Your joy is on the other side of what you’ve been avoiding. Come with reverence. This is not a trip, it’s a soul reckoning. When it’s time, leap.”

This conversation touches the heart of what it means to heal not just personal trauma, but generational patterns that live in our bodies.

In This Episode:

  1. Why years of traditional therapy still left Jaclyn feeling stuck around core wounds
  2. The pivotal conversation that led to her immediate “yes” to this experience
  3. How the group dynamic and witnessing others’ healing became part of her own transformation
  4. The full release ceremony where she “birthed herself back to herself”
  5. That unforgettable integration moment in the ice bath and what it unlocked
  6. How her relationship with masculine energy completely shifted after the experience

🔍 For anyone who has done “the work” but still feels something calling them deeper, Jaclyn’s story illuminates how some healing requires going beyond the mind to access what the body holds.

🗣️ “Your joy is on the other side of what you may have been avoiding… It’s not a trip. It’s a soul reckoning.” — Jaclyn
